Bahrain Pearl

The Bahrain natural pearl was the most valued possessions of its kind in the world. It ensured the lives and livelihoods of Bahrain’s innumerable pearl divers who venerated the earth’s oldest gem as it made its way to Kingdoms in Persia, China and India. History refers to settlement that have been found in Bahrain dating back to the third millennium BC when pearls were traded to Sumer, the modern Mesopotamia.
